I'm taking this drawing up for the next gallery show at
Fuller Lodge Art Center.
The show is called Eye Spy. I started this piece after going through the
CU Boulder Natural History museum, while sitting in the awesome
downstairs lounge at the museum. The lounge has even more displays and
hands-on experiences, and I was basking in all the natural history:
fossils, shells, pelts, photos of insects, taxidermied animals... This
drawing was an attempt to put on paper what it's like to be there! (I
looove ammonite fossils...)
