At this time of year, the garden, our CSA, and the farmers' market consumes much of my time. We even decided this year to postpone a vacation so we could stay and utilize the garden's bounty! Not only is it gratifying to be able to make dinner with absolutely freshly picked green beans, eggplant, zucchini, shishito peppers, and tomatoes, it's satisfying to put some of it away for later by using the dehydrator and freezer.
